Veritas Detox and Residential

This place is amazing. I never write reviews. NEVER. But in this case, knowing how hard it is to find a good rehab and how scary it is to trust a place with your loved one...I needed to write something. The staff is so caring and supportive. They got my daughter through the most difficult time in her life and incredibly difficult withdrawal symptoms. I truly don't believe she would have made it without them. They aren't in it for the money but to watch someone with addiction make it out the other side as many of them have done themselves. They didn't ask me to write anything about them, but I can't thank them enough for how they helped my daughter. I am just hoping this appreciation and review will let them and others know that in a sea of rehabs mostly out there to make money...this place is the real deal. I will forever be grateful to each and every person (therapists, doctors, case manager, nurses, technicians, chef, housecleaner, office staff) for the kindness, support, comfort, and encouragement they showed my daughter even in her worst moments.

Veritas came highly recommended and lived up to any expectations I might have had. I traveled halfway across the country to a place completely foreign to me in California and felt comfortable almost immediately which provided for a solid foundation in my Recovery. Phone calls and punctual pickup at the airport from James in Management and warm welcomes from the in house staff including Melody by night and Walter by day and weekend. Lastly if food is holding you back from making a decision, rest assured that Abe is in the Kitchen from 8-4 Monday through Friday dishing out some of the best meals I have ever had in my life. Veritas has not only given me the tools to stay sober but has also showed me how to live a happy and fulfilled life. I have been to several other places in an effort to get sober but none of them can even get close to what this place has truly done for me. As soon as I arrived at Veritas I could see from the very start that ALL of the staff genuinely cared about the process of my recovery. Another benefit that I got from Veritas excluding my recovery was getting my appetite back. I gradually moved back to eating three meals a day because the chef there can honestly be a top chef at any top tier restaurant that you can think of. I'm so grateful for Veritas for SAVING MY LIFE and showing me a light in which I've never known. If you want to take the proper steps in order to have a better chance at long term recovery, choose Veritas.

After numerous attempts to get clean in our area, we thought it was best to get away from the people and places that brought him to this point. His therapist was amazing and I feel that he finally got the one-on-one help that he actually needed!

Veritas has been life saving and life changing for my son, which has made a profound impact on our family, as a whole. My son has struggled with drug addiction since his late teens. He is about to turn 25, next month. He has been to detox/treatment multiple (4) times, but I truly feel this will be his last. He is 40+ days sober with a brand new zest for (sober) life. From day one he said: Mom, this place is different. These people actually care..they treat you like a person and not a scumbag, for your struggles/addiction. I could never thank their staff enough.
