DO NOT GO HERE!! Let's just say zero is the best rating! My head is still spinning from everything including the fact that there was no actual nurse on-site for the start of my detox...the most crucial time, the whole bedroom thing (being promised my own room but traveling from AZ to find that wasn't true) and several other things that didn't feel right. How I can have faith that things would go any smoother at another one of their locations, ultimately being offered that option?! The staff (although very nice and understanding) seemed confused, unorganized, not well-trained (La Toya didn't even seem to know what many of forms I was signing). No 'chef' for dinner...just enchiladas to reheat (no idea if they were gluten free...(I have Celiac Disease). I was told '6 women' but it was 4 women and 2 rude men (pouting about the possibility of losing their room/space...boohoo man-children). But, hey, I was pretty much right away promised a vape if I wanted one! ‍ Trade one addiction for another! They tried to offer another one of their locations but I had no more faith in them. So, I have paid over $300 on airfare to CA, now spending money on a hotel while I figure things out, stressed even more. Shadow Hills UNrecovery! DO NOT GO HERE!! UPDATE: Three days later and I am at another recovery in Tarzana. 24/7 365 nurses, private room & bath, a chef that spoke with me immediately about my needs. Lovely facility where I immediately felt safe and cared for. And, all staff seems organized, knows what they are doing and what exact forms they are asking you to sign. Night and day first experiences.

Big shout out to Shadow Hills Recovery they truly saved my life physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually! It felt like the home I never had! My heart goes out to all of them for how hard they work. The case manager Gina is my hero she is so understanding, kind, compassionate and realistic. Get what you want out of it, that place will lie to you and deceive you in many ways. They have a basketball with no Hoop and a golf club with no balls, a pool with no heater, a fire pit with no fire and a Lady with No Name that gives you 10 minutes to pack your stuff and leave. I didn't go anywhere lady, I'm still around! I came for sobriety and am leaving with my dignity. Lennox was great and I learned alot from them but you guys are deceivers with the only personality of making money off people. You did not beat me! You're just another Trophy. Watch out for the fake reviews on these places.

I came to shadow hills about a month ago and it truly changed my life. Gina, Danielle, Monse and Zach were all so amazing and were there for me every step of the way. From the amazing outings to movie nights I felt so taken care of and safe. Thank you all so much!
