Palm House Residential Treatment and Recovery Services

This residential treatment facility offers high-quality support to men struggling with substance abuse related to drugs and alcohol. Eligible participants must be at least 18 years old and have maintained sobriety for a minimum of 24 hours. Recovery at Palm House is structured into three distinct phases, with treatment plans reassessed every 30 days. In the initial phase, residents engage in introspective work to comprehend their addiction, participating in 12-step meetings. The second phase requires them to assume leadership responsibilities within the community and to place their trust in a higher power. They also complete a comprehensive pre-employment assessment to prepare for the workforce. The final phase is more rigorous, lasting 3 to 4 months, during which residents undergo job training and develop an exit strategy. Throughout their stay, the men benefit from both individual and group therapy, are connected with community resources, and participate in educational outings, tours, picnics, and various recreational activities, both indoors and outdoors.
