Mariposa Detox Center

I would recommend Mariposa to anyone who wants to get help for themselves. I completed a 30 day program and I truly believe it's the best investment that I ever made. They had everything lined up for me from start to finish and I felt loved and supported the whole time. The staff were all so incredibly kind and caring which made the experience even better. From the group leaders, to the fitness trainer Eddie, to the Techs, to the nursing staff, the the chef (queen Suzie) and the program Directer Jen. 10/10. The houses were beautiful and clean and the backyards were lovely to spend time in with the life long friends that I made while being there. Delicious food everyday, beautiful weather, and all around great environment to get sober in. They also take you on weekly outings around the area during the weekend. If you want to get sober I HIGHLY suggest Mariposa. They saved my life and I can truly look in the mirror and tell myself that I love myself today. I couldn't say that before going.

This program was amazing from start to finish. They were thorough, attentive and made me feel comfortable, safe and accepted. I have battled with mental health and substance abuse for years and i finally feel like I was taught the right tools for success. Thank you to every staff member, doctor and therapist you guys were awesome!

I can’t believe anyone would give this place a quarter of a star. If you have a loved one that needs help with their journey to sobriety, please don’t even consider this place. The director is arrogant, the nurses are incompetent, the staff are unprofessional and they do not give a care in the world. The place is filthy, smells like urine, and it’s over crowded. They also seem to think people only need to eat Monday-Friday since there is a chef during those times, but leave nothing for these people to eat on the weekend. Calling there to inquire about the wellness of your family member is a joke because not a single soul there has the social skills to converse like a human being. Staff plays favorites depending what ethnicity you are. Buying certain clients pop and burgers while the others have to fend for themselves. The director, George also made it clear he doesn’t want to hear any complaints. They truly don’t care about the health, wellness or emotional state any patient/client is in. I would never recommend my worst enemy to get “treatment” here.

Do not go here! This place is horrible. There is no order, you will not get your phone. The medication treatment is a joke. It’s only a matter of time until someone gets seriously hurt due to negligence. I was told they took care of couples and that is the furthest from the truth. My wife and I tried to get help and were segregated and treated like children. The instructors where fine, but handcuffed by administration. When we finally had enough, we were forced to pack all our belongings and stand off the premises in order to gain access to our insurance info so we could find another facility to go to. We had zero money, not even from the state, and my wife’s phone was completely dead. They didn’t care at all. They are not professional at all. It’s pathetic.

This place and the people here helped save my life in more parts of my life than imaginable. Ethan answered my cry for help and had me in Cali the next day I'm on 4 months clean and so we with the best love and support I could ever ask for. O also have my mother back in my life who is able to trust and rely on me again. I'm so thankful for all of them and Hollywood harmony detox
