Haven at College

As an addiction and trauma specialist, owning and operating a treatment facility that prides itself on client-centered care and compassionate and knowledgeable staff, it is an unbelievable asset to have The Haven at College as a resource to our clients and our community. The Haven offers support that sets and then raises the bar for recognizing and treating an increasing and deadly epidemic that effects people of all ages, but especially young adults naive to the harsh reality that college “partying” now leads to very significant and life-threatening crises. The prevalence of medical and psychiatric crises arise more often than many mental health and substance abuse professionals are often equipped to understand or manage. The Haven at College, provides the ongoing dedication, informed and compassionate staff, that make all the difference between a precious life being saved that could easily have otherwise fallen through the cracks. I have personally witnessed, as a joint effort, lives saved and hope restored in circumstances that would undoubtedly have been lost if not for having resources like The Haven as partners in care.
