Testimonials

I highly recommend this sober living for individuals looking for solutions on how to live a well-rounded life centered around recovery. I lived at Hilltop House Sober Living for 5 months after 'graduating' from a 1-month in-patient program. This house FAR surpasses and exceeds other sober-living homes. The owner and house managers are in daily/weekly communication with the tenants regarding their recovery journey. They could not be more passionate about instilling better habits and mindsets in those who have suffered from addiction. It is a peaceful and clean environment. The house feels like a home should. the neighborhood/area is great and easily accessible. I'm grateful I decided to live at Hilltop House Sober Living over the other options in L.A.

Hilltop Sober Living is an incredibly special place. I am a single mother of a 19-year-old son, and was struggling with giving him the support and care he needed with substance abuse and mental health issues. Hilltop has been a saving grace for him. The guidance, supportive community, and accountability with kindness have really helped set my son on the right path and saved our family. The director and house manager are amazing. They really do everthing to provide a safe, supportive, vibrant place where folks can have a new and hopeful path to a healthy and happy life.

I cannot emphasize enough the value of living in a house with a strong AA Recovery foundation. When I moved into Hilltop Sober Living, I felt broken and could not see a way forward. Chris helped me find a great Intensive Out Patient center right away and connected me with a sponsor. Hilltop is not just a sober living, it is a community centered on building a new life. I am grateful to be a part of this community.

I called Hilltop from a detox center desperate with very little sober time. The owner took a chance on me and I am deeply grateful for that. I stayed for 3 months and only moved to be closer to a new job. It is consistently the cleanest sober living I've seen. I was also introduced to Mens Stag meetings here which have truly changed my recovery. The program is well-structured but managed with a laid-back approach, striking a perfect balance. If you're serious about staying sober, the requirements are more than reasonable. They serve as a foundation to safeguard and strengthen your sobriety, whether you're here or anywhere else. It's also a chill tranquil place. Mostly people who are career and sobriety oriented and no real drama. The house managers are supportive yet helped me see some blind spots around my mental health and that was a game changer for me. Also there is a great meeting on site every Saturday. The property layout is great, with both indoor and outdoor spaces to relax, watch TV, or connect with others. It's a really solid place if you want structure and accountability to help maintain your sobriety.

Hilltop has been an incredible experience for me, the owner Chris cares alot about our recovery. The people here take their recovery seriously and put it above everything else, they make sure we stay connected with a good recovery support system and actually have a better chance at long lasting sobriety.
