Embark at West Los Angeles

I was a patient in their young adult IOP for a few months. Everyone I met here was so kind, welcoming, warm, and supportive. Even through some staffing changes that happened while I was enrolled in the program, my immediate needs were always a first priority by every member of the staff. I started the program experiencing very poor mental health and struggling with very tough life challenges and this program taught me tools to not only effectively cope with the past, but to strengthen me to tackle the future as well. They took into consideration my personal goals, and asked me what I wanted out of life, and then made it their mission to help me get there using skills-based therapy. I know in my heart that every therapist here really truly cares deeply about their work helping others get back on their feet. I am so eternally grateful for the support and care I received at Embark BH!! I recommend this team of bright, kindhearted professionals to anyone in need of behavioral health services!

This place comes across Moree like a cult than anything else. My wife was sold a bill of goods and was told treatment was tailored to the individual patient and that one on one treatment was available. We showed up to find out that none of what we were told was true. Fake smiles and "sorry for the miscommunication" was offered. But 2 hours in the car deserves more of a mea culpa. Horrible phony vibes they definitely are looking for people to drink their brand of Kool Aid.

Embark BH LA is an awesome place with genuinely good hearted staff and they are a pivotal part of the community that is focused on more individualized support services for mental health amongst young people. Highly recommend their services.
