Testimonials

If you are very homeless than this program is probably good for you. If you need support for mental health DO NOT COME HERE. Especially if you are a female. Staff will no coach the men clients against sexual comments whatsoever. Currently understaffed ridiculously and with people who are not counselor material. police were called twice in one week for assault and sexual harrassment. And aggressors we're allowed to continue the process and cause problems. Certain staff will roll eyes and not do rounds or anything you ask them to help you with. Make sure to come with meds that you like to be on and cross your fingers they don't mess them up or forget how to read discharge paperwork. No structure followed and schedule and "rules" are at staffs whim. If they do not want to take you for a walk you won't go, etc. The only relief is a cigarette break every two hours. Make sure to get a room without anything broken inside or that won't be handled either. They do not help you find housing so do not be fooled by intake who tells you they will link you before your discharge. Would never have come here from the the hospital had I known this. Good food if you like to eat heavy and unhealthy. Otherwise do not even try to tell them your diet limitations. Only a select few ACTUALLY care.

I went through this program a few times. The staff was so patient and understanding through a few of my toughest times. They provide great mental health and substance abuse service and encourage guests to be an active part of their own recovery. Brenda, Brian, Marie, Franklin, and the entire staff were a huge part of the process that saved my life. I've been sober for over 2 years, help others in program, and continue to use tools that i leaned at Jumpstreet. If you're dealing with mental health and addiction issues, they can help.

The staffs are very friendly and willing to help as much as they can. They are strict and following the protocols. I feel safe that my son stay there.

I personally know of 3 people that committed suicide within 30 days of leave this place. Can you say snake pit. The mental abuse is worse than the Los Angeles County Jail.
