They provide world class medical professionals that are always available, and the best nurses, kitchen, and house staff you can imagine. Aside from the traditional luxury treatment amenities that Carrera offers, having an in-home movie theater, spa, 2 pools, and full service juice bar are truly next level. You also never feel alone, as there is roughly 4 staff members to each resident at any given time. Being able to decompress after therapy in an infrared sauna, or with a 100 minute massage, allows yourself to almost go deeper into the work because you know you have a reward coming. Because the house can only have 6 occupants at once, it always feels like you are in an intimate luxury residence and not a clinical setting. It affords you the opportunity to bond with the staff and treatment team, and everyone be working towards the same goal with is your recovery. I look back at my time at Carrara, and I am immediately filled with immense gratitude for the live changing tools and impact it has already had on my life. Their founder Richard, therapist Nika, nurses Casey and Ramsey, RA Brooke and Mike- make this the best living embodiment of a treatment center where you are dealing with addictions, mental health, trraumcer, and other disorders. It’s the treatment team, the methodology, the staff, and the surroundings that make Carrara unlike anything else. It’s because of this that I left with the best relapse prevention tools, and a whole new viewpoint and approach to how I show up for my relationships and marriage.
