Authentic Recovery Center (ARC)

This program has completely and fully changed my life. I can’t honestly say one bad thing about the house, the staff, the programming, or any of the outings / meetings we attended. I want to specifically say that Kim was such a beam of light while I was in my darkness. She made me feel safe, she made me feel heard, and I was able to connect with her and it made me feel so loved. I appreciated nurse Michael for being a medication expert and for explaining things to me with such detail I felt comfortable and knowledgeable with what I was taking. Tina and Cookie were super helpful in making me feel comfortable and welcomed. They treated me like I had been there for years. The food was amazing, the house was clean, and I want to also give a huge thank you to Karen who was so kind and helpful I felt extremely safe around her and I appreciate her completely. Thank you for this opportunity for my sober journey. I have never felt better.

This was such a wonderful experience for me. From the wise and supportive therapist, to the resourceful and attentive case workers— this is the place to be to begin your healing journey. The beds are soo comfortable, the rooms are spacious and the backyard is gorgeous and a great place for reflection. The time spent here was about rest and recovery. This place is a godsend. Is it fun? NO. Is it a “resort” - NO. Do the people ther care? Absolutely. Getting sober is the hardest thing I’ve ever attempted - ARC helped me get on my feet - and open the “crack of the door” to help me find who I really was - not a pathetic addict, but a human being with a serious deadly desiese. Many leave “before the miracle” - best wishes - I’m sorry you didn’t “get it” yet. THANK YOU ARC

Yes, this place helps people. It’s clean and the food is ok, but I still had to leave after 11 days because they lost some of my property after I complained about class punctuality and a dangerously situated gym. I do not recommend if you have high standards of living.

Save your money and your time. This place is a joke. There are no purposeful services or therapies at all. Don’t be fooled by the website. The therapies and services touted are non-existent. The staff is unprofessional and inattentive. If you’re looking for help with recovery, go elsewhere. You won’t get it at ARC.
